Once your application has been reviewed and approved, you will receive confirmation of your participation.
Become a Semi-Finalist
Successful applicants will advance to the Semi-Finalist stage.
Semi-finalists will participate in:
- Public Voting
- Community Projects
- Challenges and Tasks
- Personal Development Activities
Become a Finalist
Semi-finalists who meet the competition requirements will be selected as official finalists.
Finalists will receive:
- Official Finalist Sash
- Finalist Certificate
- Access to Workshops and Training Sessions
- National Pageant Preparation
- Opportunities for International Selection
The Grand Finale
Prepare for an unforgettable pageant experience where delegates will compete for prestigious titles and international opportunities.
Selected delegates may be considered to represent South Africa
at our affiliated international pageants.

Applicants Must:
- Be a South African citizen or legal resident
- Demonstrate good character, discipline, and leadership potential
- Participate in community projects, challenges, and pageant activities
- Follow all competition rules and regulations

☆ Ages: Pre-Teen (9–13 years) & Teen (14–19 years)
☆ Must reside in any province in South Africa with no restrictions to stay
☆ Must be a South African citizen
☆ Must be female
☆ Must not be married or engaged
☆ Must not be pregnant and must never have given birth
☆ Must have no criminal record or involvement in any criminal offence
☆ Must be in good health
☆ Be a role model to Young South Africans & be ready to represent your province
By submitting an application, contestants and their parents/legal guardians (where applicable) agree to abide by all rules and regulations of Miss Teen Excellency South Africa and its affiliated organisations.
Participants consent to the use of photographs, videos, recordings, and promotional material for marketing, media, publicity, and event purposes.
All personal information collected will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), Act 4 of 2013, and will only be used for lawful purposes related to the administration and operation of Miss Teen Excellency South Africa.
